Android 5.1 Lollipop Change log

While still Android 5.0 Lollipop release is in-complete for most of the devices Google is all set to release the next version of Android as Android 5.1 Lollipop which will be released in early 2015. The change log for new Android 5.1 is also released.

Two different sources from internet giant Google has confirmed that Google is ready to roll out Android 5.1 Lollipop early next year and most probably by end of February, 2015. However Google has declined to announce further news about the next version of android operating system.

Android 5.1 Lollipop will remain with Lollipop moniker but updates various bugs. With reference to the change log leaked, the update will bring some missing features like silent mode in Android 5.0 and many improvements regarding battery management, system availability, consumption of network devices, RAM, WiFi issues, Ok Google and some other bugs. Also it is reported that there are changes in material design color palette.

Most of the popular smartphone manufacturers like HTC, Samsung, Sony along with others didn’t yet release Android 5.0 Lollipop to their handsets. But Sony did mention that Android 5.0 will be rolled out for Sony Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 in early 2015.
