Asus launches Asus Fonepad 7 with 4G support and Lollipop update
Asus has launched a new voice calling tablet to its Fonepad series of android powered devices in the name of Asus Fonepad 7 (FE375CL) which will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
Asus Fonepad 7 is listed on Asus official website and is reported as it will be first launched in Taiwan for a price of $250 which is approximately INR 15,500 rupees. Unfortunately the availability and exact pricing details is not yet been revealed.
According to the listing on Asus website, Asus Fonepad 7 is a single SIM (only micro SIM card supported) device featuring a 7 inch WXGA IPS LED display which has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The display screen supports up to 10 point multi touch.
Asus Fonepad 7 is powered by Intel’s Atom Z3530 chipset with quad core processor clocked at speed of 1.3 GHz and is coupled with 2 GB of main memory (RAM).
The internal storage space of Asus Fonepad 7 is either 8 GB or 16 GB which can be later expanded to 64 GB of memory space with the help of an external microSD card.
The camera specs of Asus Fonepad 7 includes a 5 MP autofocus camera on its back and also carries a 2 MP front snapper. The connectivity options of Asus Fonepad 7 includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB, FM radio, 4G LTE support etc.
Asus Fonepad 7 is packed with 15 Whr battery and is claimed to provide up to 12 hours of battery life. The physical measurements of this tablet are 108.9 x 194.3 x 9.8 millimeters and weighs about 299 grams.
