Gionee M5 specifications listed on TENAA
Earlier this week, Gionee has released a teaser for its new smartphone dubbed Gionee M5 via its Weibo account. They gave a hint that Gionee M5 will be backed with two batteries. After the teaser, now its has been listed on China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Centre website which is known as TENAA along with its specifications. And the certifications confirms it will be sporting Dual Battery.
Gionee M5 will be first Lollipop powered smartphone to feature Dual battery but M5 might not be the only smartphone to feature two batteries since Innos D6000 also features two batteries. This smartphone was launched during Mobile World Congress (MWC) which was held at Barcelona during the month of March, 2105.
Gionee M5 features a 5.5 inch high resolution AMOLED display with screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Gionee’s user interface on top of it. Under the hood M5 is powered by quad core processor clocked at speed of 1.3 GHz and is coupled with 2 GB of main memory (RAM).
The internal storage specifications of Gionee M5 includes 16 GB of in-built memory space which can be later expanded up to 128 GB of memory space with the help of an external micro SD card. Regarding the camera options of Gionee M5, it sports an 8 MP camera on its back along with a LED flash light and also a 5 MP front snapper gets on board as well.
Gionee M5 physically measures 152 x 76 x 8.6 millimeters and weighs about 213 grams and Gionee said that M will be available in following flavors – Nobel White, Black Gentleman, Gold Glory colors. Unfortunately, the battery specs was not listed.
