Run Linux Mint 16 over windows using Virtualbox
Linux Mint 16 is a latest operating system in Linux distribution and its graphical user interface is remarkably improved and it also has some great features than its previous version. After installing virtual box, open it and in the home screen click on “New”
Now a new windows opens, enter the name and select the type and version from the list and click NEXT
Now in this window, set the RAM size for the virtual machine and click NEXT.
In hard drive window, click on ” create a virtual hard drive now ” and click CREATE.
Now hard disk file type will appear, select the option VDI and click NEXT.
Now in this window, select ” dynamically allocated ” and click NEXT.
Set the name and directory where the virtual machine have to be saved and click CREATE.
Now it has been created, click on ” Start ”
Select start-up disk prompt box will appear, set the directory where the ISO file of Linux mint 16 operating system is stored and click START.
