Huawei C199S featuring Snapdragon 615 chip gets revealed
Huawei has now came up with a new android geared smartphone which is an upgrade to its previous Huawei C199 phablet dubbed in the anme of Huawei C199S. The updated parts include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chipset which is based on 64 bit architecture and a gold color option.
Huawei C199S sports a 5.5 inch IPS display screen with resolution of 720 pixels and features a Snapdragon 615 chip. This smartphone posses LTE connectivity and Dual SIM support.
Huawei C199S comes with eight Cortex A53 cores coupled with 2 GB of main memory (RAM) and the graphics chipset includes Adreno 405. This upcoming smartphone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with Huawie’s EMUI3 interface on top of it.
The storage space of Huawei C199S is 16 GB primarily (though 12 GB is available to the user) which can be later expanded through external micro SD card.
The camera specifications of Huawei C199S includes 13 mega pixel camera on its back which can shoot 1080 pixels video and also a 5 mega pixel front snapper on board which can capture videos at 720 pixel resolution.
The connectivity options of Huawei C199S includes basic connectivity standards like WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, 2G, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, LTE connectivity, FM radio, micro USB.
Huawei C199S physically measures about 5.5 inches with 7.6 millimeters thickness and weighs about 167 grams. This smartphone is packed with 3,000 mAh battery.
This device carries a price tag of CNY 2,300 which is approximately $370. As of now Huawei C199S will be available on China’s Vmall but worldwide availability is not final yet.
