Huawei Honor 6 Plus will be launched along with other 4G budget smartphones during the month of March
Huawei has now announced that the firm is planning to launch Honor 6 Plus for Indian market during the month of March, 2105. This announcement took place during the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) at Barcelona. Huawei also said that they will be launching this smartphone along with other new 4G smartphones. But the firm didn’t mention any names of the other smartphones.
The President of Honor business – Dragon Yin announced at MWC that the Honor which was launched last year had a great success which made us optimistic and Huawei has entered 57 global markets in just six months. Yin also added that firm works to expand the market and said that India is also an important market to target.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer plans to launch some 4 G budget smartphones in the country and the price range expected will be less than or equal to INR 10,000 rupees.
He also mentioned the number of units sold over last year and according to Huawei, Honor has sold nearly 20 million devices in 2014 world wide. Huawei Honor Holly was launched during the month of October, 2104 in India.
As of Huawei Honor 6 Plus, this smartphone was launched back in December, 2104 in China and has two different variants. The Honor 6 Plus with single SIM supporting 4G connectivity costs CNY 1,999 that is approximately INR 20,500 rupees. The other variant sporting Dual SIM cards supporting 4G connectivity is priced CNY 2,499 which is approximately INR 25,700 rupees.
