Lava Iris Fuel 20 featuring 4400 mAh battery gets launched
Lava has now added a new smartphone to its Lava Iris family of smartphones dubbed Lava Iris Fuel 20. The main highlight of this device is that it carries a 4400 mAh battery and goes for such a low price. The quoted price from Lava is INR 5,399 rupees.
Iris Fuel 20 is available in two colors – White, Metallic Grey and is available to buy through e-commerce websites and retail stores across India. This smartphone is similar to other Fuel smartphones from Lava which is packed with huge battery.
Iris Fuel 20 carries a battery which is larger than other smartphones in the same league such as Moto E which packs 1980 mAh, Zenfone 5 which has 2110 mAh battery, Redmi 1S sporting 2000 mAh battery and Lenovo A6000 which has 2300 mAh battery. Lava claims that Fuel 20 is the smartphone which carries largest battery in this price range.
The downfall of Iris Fuel 20 is that it supports only 2G connectivity. Indian market has seen some 4G supporting smartphones released with mid range price recently so no support for 4G might be considered as a disadvantage for Fuel 20.
Iris Fuel 20 is a Dual SIM smartphone which runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It sports a 5 inch FWVGA display which has resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.
Iris Fuel 20 is powered with dual core processor clocked at speed of 1.3 GHz and is coupled with 512 MB of main memory (RAM). The internal memory of this smartphone is 4 GB of storage space which can be later expanded up to 32 GB of memory space via an external microSD card.
The camera specifications of Iris Fuel 20 includes a 5 MP rear camera along with LED flash light and sports a 0.3 MP VGA front snapper also gets on board. Other than 2G connectivity, Iris Fuel 20 has pretty basic connectivity standards like WiFi, Bluetooth, micro USB, FM radio.
