Lenovo A7000 might get unveiled on 7th of April, 2015
Lenovo has started to send invites for 7th of April, 2015 for an event where it is considered that Lenovo might reveal details about their new Lenovo A7000 for Indian market. The invite doesn’t say much but it shows a Dolby atmosphere which comes as a built in feature on the all new A7000.
Lenovo A7000 was initially launched at Mobile World Congress which took place at Barcelona during the month of March, 2015. This smartphone carried a price tag of $169 which is approximately INR 10,400 rupees and was said that it will become available in March for those countries where Lenovo smartphones are sold.
Lenovo A7000 is the successor of Lenovo’s popular smartphone named Lenevo A6000, so we can expect A7000 will come up with upgraded specifications than A6000. This smartphone supports Dual SIM cards where both are micro SIM cards. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Lenovo’s Vibe user interface running on top of it.
Lenovo A7000 features a 5.5 inch high definition IPS display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and A 7000 is powered by MediaTek MT 6572M chipset with octa core processor running at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. This device is coupled with a 2 GB of main memory (RAM).
The camera specifications of Lenovo A7000 includes an 8 MP rear camera accompanied with a LED flash light and along with it a 5 MP front snapper gets onboard. The inbuilt storage space of A 7000 is 8 GB and the default memory space can be expanded via an external micro SD card. The maximum memory size that the device can support remains unknown.
The connectivity standards of Lenovo A7000 are much similar to its ancestor “A 6000” which includes WiFi, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G, 4G LTE connectivity, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio, micro USB. Lenovo A7000 is packed with a 2,900 mAh battery and this smartphone physically measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.99 millimeters and weighs about 140 grams.
