In the beginning of this month, there was a report suggesting Lenovo was set to launch their new phablet dubbed as Lenovo K4 Note. This new android powered device is the successor of Lenovo K3 Note which was a huge success for the firm this year. Thus the company plans to launch Lenovo K4 Note from the first week of January, 2016.

Lenovo has been teasing Lenovo K4 Note on social media but the full specifications and other features aren’t clear right now. Recently the firm has teased that Lenovo K4 Note will be featuring 3 GB of RAM which is an improvement compared to 2 GB RAM on L3 Note.

On a twitter post, Lenovo confirmed that L4 Note will have 3 GB of main memory (RAM). In the mean time, the firm plans to launch K4 Note for Indian market from 5th January, 2106 on wards. Lenovo K4 Note was hinted to feature a full metal body along with fingerprint scanner.

Earlier this month Lenovo reported that they have sold more than 1.2 million K3 Note phablets in India. K3 was launched in India during June of 2015 for a price of INR 9, 999 rupees.

A quick recap, Lenovo K3 Note is a dual SIM phablet featuring 5.5 inch full high definition display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, it was powered by MediaTek MT 6752 chipset with octa core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and is coupled with 2 GB of RAM.

Regarding the storage specs, L3 Note comes with 16 GB of internal memory space and can be expanded up to 32 GB of storage space. It sports a 13 MP camera on its back and a 5 MP camera gets on board as well. L3 supports the basic connectivity options such as WiFi, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, FM radio, micro USB, GPS, EDGE etc and is backed up by a 2900 mAh battery.
