Lenovo A5000 is now available in Russia for buying

Lenovo has now added a new member to A series smartphone dubbed Lenovo A5000. A5000 has been launched for Russian market and also it has been officially listed on UAE’s Lenovo website but without pricing information.

Lenovo A5000 is available for buying in Russia for a price of RUB 12,000 which is approximately INR 14,500 but unfortunately there are no details about the availability for other markets as of now. The most notable feature of Lenovo A5000 is that it is packed with a large 4,000 mAh battery. Lenovo promises that it will provide 792 hours of standby time while on 3G network and 17 hours of talk time.


It looks like Lenovo A5000 won’t support 4G LTE connectivity. Lenovo claims that Quick Charge feature of the device will allow the smartphone to get fully charged in 3 hours and it will stand up for 4 hours of talk time if charged for 15 minutes. A5000 will support Dual SIM cards (one micro SIM and a regular SIM card).

Lenovo A5000 features a 5 inch high definition IPS display with screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The pixel density of the device is 300 pixels per inch. This latest smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT 6582 chipset with quad core processor clocked at speed of 1.3 GHz. The graphics of the device is powered by Mali T 760 – MP2 chip.

The main memory (RAM) of Lenovo A5000 is 1 GB and the internal storage space is 8 GB which can be later expanded up to 32 GB via an external micro SD card. The camera specifications includes an 8 MP on its back along with a LED flash light and a 2 MP front snapper gets onboard.

The connectivity options of Lenovo A5000 includes WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, 2G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, micro USB, FM radio. The physical measurements of A5000 will be 140 x 71.4 x 9.98 millimeters and weighs about 160 grams. Lenovo A5000 will be available in two flavors – White and Black.
