MediaTek’s MT6753 is a 64 bit based octa core processor

MediaTek announced its MT6753 back in August. It is a Cortex A53 octa core processor which has clock speed of 2.2 GHz and its GPU is PowerVR G6200. MediaTek has many chipsets back in line and they are MT6735 which is also an octa core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, MT6732 quad core processor at 1.5 GHz clock speed and MT6735 quad core chipset with 1.5 GHz clock speed.

Also the firm prepared it in a manner that it is targetting specific devices and they all are featuring rich connectivity features including LTE. Today, MediTek has a new chipset in the line up which is MT6753. This new chipset offers an octa core Cortex A53 chip which is clocking at 1.7 GHz and Mali T760 GPU.

The new chip supports LTE Cat4 and is covering more LTE brands than ever. Also it supports EVDO Rev.A and CDMA 2000 1X. MediaTek supports 1080 pixels displays and upto 16 MP cameras with 1080 px video recording at 30 frames per second.

By the second quarter of 2015, MT6753 chipset will be manufactured in large numbers. Here is a road map of smartphone products by MediaTek.

    nice info. octa core based mobile device will be cheaper after 64 bit processors are out to the market.
