Micromax launches budget smartphone – Micromax Bolt AD3520
Micromax has come up with a new budget smartphone which belongs to its Bolt series of smartphones. The firm has launched Micromax Bolt AD3520 during on going Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES 2015).
Micromax Bolt AD3520 is available to buy over Micromax’s website for an e-commerce shopping price of just Rs. 3,490. This smartphone does not come with great specifications but given the such a low price the specs are pretty good.
Micromax Bolt AD3520 features a 3.5 inch IPS display screen with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and is powered by MediaTek MT 6571 chipset with dual core processor. This smartphone is clocked at speed of 1.3 GHz coupled with 512 MB of main memory (RAM).
It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and sports a 2 MP camera on its back and has 0.3 MP front snapper. Micromax Bolt AD3520 supports dual SIM facility and comes with 4 GB of in built memory space but the storage space can be expanded via external microSD card.
Connectivity options are the standard protocols like WiFi, Micro USB, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, GPS. But it doesn’t even support 3G connectivity whereas most smartphones in this 3K to 4K price range has facility to support 3G connectivity.
Micromax Bolt AD3520 is packed with 1500 mAh battery and has some pre installed applications like Panda Run, Hike, Opera, Micromax’s apps etc. The notable feature about Micromax Bolt AD3520 is that it has dual front speakers which the firm calls as dual firing speakers. This latest smartphone is available for buying through eBay.
Back in November, 2104 Micromax launched its Micromax Bolt AD 4500 which had pretty much the same specifications as Micromax Bolt AD3520 but it had better batter capacity. Bolt AD 4500 was launched for a price of Rs. 5,249.
