Two new smartphones featuring Microsoft Windows 10 – Cityman and Talkman
Recently, Microsoft revealed their plans for Windows 10 operating system for desktop computers but they never mentioned about the Phone platform. Then Joe Belfoire – Group Chief of Operating System revealed that we can expect two new high end smartphones featuring Windows 10 later this year. Thus Microsoft is planning to launch two new high end windows powered devices and will be running the upcoming Windows 10 out of the box.
These two high end smartphone that is yet to be officially revealed by the firm is called by their code names Cityman and Talkman. Microsoft’s Cityman will be featuring a 5.7 inch quad high definition display and under the hood, it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip with octa core processor.
Cityman will be coupled with 3 GB of main memory (RAM) and the internal storage space is 32 GB which can be later expanded with the help of an external micro SD card. Regarding the camera specifications, Cityman will be sporting a 20 MP camera (with PureView technology) on its back and a 5 MP front snapper gets on board as well. This smartphone will be packed with 3,300 mAh battery.
On the other hand, another premium smartphone whose code name is dubbed Talkman aloso shares similar specifications as Cityman with few exceptions.
Talkman will be featuring a 5.2 quad high definition display screen and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset with Hexa core processor and is coupled along with a 3 GB of main memory (RAM). The internal storage space is same as Cityman which is 32 GB memory space which expandable via an external memory card.
The camera specifications of Talkman is also same as Cityman which is 20 MP rear camera with PureView technology and a 5 MP front camera. This device is backed up by a 3,000 mAh Lithium – Polymer battery.
