Motorola Moto E (Gen 2) details leaked out
Motorola launched second generation of its two famous smartphones Moto G and Moto X last year but left out their Motorola Moto E which is still waiting for an upgrade to latest firmware. There are rumors prevailing on the internet that Motorola Mobile is working on successor of Moto E which will be called as Motorola Moto E (Gen 2).
And now, Android Police website wrote an article by publishing images of Motorola Moto E which showing the front and rear sides of the images with display on. By the glimpse of Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) front side we get the impression that this smartphone will feature a slightly larger display but not quite up to 5 inch.
Another notable aspect is that while Moto E first generation still runs on Android 4.4 KitKat waiting for Lollipop whereas the Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. There is a possibility that there can be two variants supporting single SIM and Dual SIM facility which is unlike first generation which supported Dual SIM cards.
Also in the first generation of Moto E we saw that the smartphone carried a dual front speakers grille, but it is not present on Motorola Moto E. This yet to be announced device sports a single speaker grill right on top of the display screen.
Android Police also added that Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) might sport a front facing camera and a secondary noise cancellation microphone which was not seen on first generation of this device.
There is a report saying that Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) will be officially announced during Mobile World Congress (MWC) which is going to take place in Barcelona during the month of March, 2105. But officially there is no such announcement from Motorola Mobiles.
Some of the leaked specifications of Motorola Moto E (2nd gen) includes a 4.5 inch quad High Definition display screen with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and sporting a 5 MP camera on its back. In addition to the basic connectivity standards like WiFi, Bluetooth, FM radio, micro USB it will support LTE connectivity. We think that Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) will also come with low price as its ancestor.
