NVIDIA will no longer focus on smartphones
Recently in an interview with CNET, Jen Hsun Huang the CEO NVIDIA said that the firm will not focus on smartphone any longer. After Tegra 4I failed to get a profit in the market, the company realized that it is price oriented market.
Making this as a reason Jen Hsun Huang said, NVIDIA will now focus more in other markets like gaming and cars. Now a days cars comes with more sophisticated systems and it needs a more capable processor to do all the functions properly.
From now on NVIDIA don’t be manufacturing chips for smartphones is unknown but Jen Hsun Huang suggested that the company would be interested if some company is making ” Porsche of phones or tablets ” but for other smart devices the company is not interested.
