Oppo U3 gets launch in China
It has been almost a week since Oppo has launched its latest smartphones Oppo R1C and Oppo Mirror 3. But now, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has come up with another new smartphone dubbed Oppo U3. This latest smartphone is officially announced for Chinese market but no further details about availability and pricing is announced yet.
Some of the important specifications of Oppo U3 has been leaked out which says that this upcoming smartphone will feature a 5.9 inch full high definition display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
Oppo U3 is powered by MediaTek MT 6752 chipset with octa core processor clocked at speed of 1.7 GHz and is based on 64 bit architecture. This android device is coupled with 2 GB of main memory (RAM).
This smartphone supports dual SIM facility and will run on Android 4.4.4 KiaKat operating system with Color OS 2.0.1 user interface on top of it. Oppo U3 carries a 13 MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX 124 sensor and sports a 5 MP camera on its front. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage space and it can be later expanded by external micro SD card up to 128 GB storage.
Oppo U3 seems to be a mid range smartphone which is packed with 3000 mAh battery which Oppo claims to be charged 75 % in just 30 minutes with help of Oppo’s VOOC fast charging technology.
Oppo U3 will be available in White and Black color flavors. The physical measurements of this smartphone is 156.8 x 81 x 8 millimeters and it weighs about 195 grams.
Last week Oppo launched its Oppo R1C and Oppo Mirror 3 in China, where Mirror 3 comes with slightly lower specs but R1C almost shares similar specifications as Oppo U3. Since the specifications of U3 and Oppo R1C are similar, we expect that it will also carry a price tag of CNY 2,499 which is approximately INR 25,000 rupees.
