Sony launches PumpX for INR 7,990 rupees
Today, Sony Corporation has made a step to make a big mark in portable audio segment by launching a new Bluetooth supported wireless portable speaker dubbed Sony PumpX. PumpX carries a price tag of INR 7,900 rupees.
Sony PumpX features a two 10 W 45 millimeters driven speakers along with Bluetooth version 3.0 and it supports NFC (Near Field Connectivity). The firm claims that the battery life will be up for five to twelve hours on a fully charged state. This device is packed with a charger and a pouch.
Sony PumpX is also used for making and receiving calls via wireless since it has an additional facility – microphone. Audio transmission is done through 3.5 millimeter audio in or by Bluetooth. Near Field Connectivity (NFC) will be useful for easy paring of devices.
Sony PumpX supports only up to Bluetooth v 3.0 but there is no word from Sony about the support for AptX. It has a virtual surround sound mode which provides the user with a sense of room filling effect.
Sony plans to take on DigiFlip, JBL, Portronics and other similar wireless portable speaker with the price range similar to Sony PumpX. Sony strongly claims about the performance and portability despite the size of the device. Sony PumpX is currently available in three flavors – Red, Black and White for a price of Rs. 7,990.
