Sony Xperia M2 hands on
Sony Xperia M2 is the latest addition from Sony and here comes a small review about this new mid range smartphone.
The device comes in two types and they are single SIM support and dual SIM support. It has 4.8 inch of display screen of qHD. The resolution is of 540 x 960 pixels. Snapdragon 400 is the chipset of quad core Cortex A7 processor at 1.2 GHz clock speed. The RAM capacity is 1 gigabyte.
Regarding the storage capacity, it has 8 gigabyte of built in storage space and microSD can be expanded. It has 8 megapixel of primary camera which can capture video at 1080 pixels.
Coming to design Sony Xperia M2 follows the Sony’s default design with a front glass and back glass like plastic material and aluminium like frame along the sides. Though the frame is made out of plastic and isn’t metal but it is nice to touch.
Behind the device the camera is placed in center and not in upper left corner as Sony’s recent devices. The position of the power button remains the same since it is most loved position. Though the size of the camera button and volume adjuster button on the side has been reduced.
Regarding software the device comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean which might be disappointment to some users since users prefer KitKat but Sony announced that KitKat will be given as an update in a short period.
