A brief review – Sony Xperia Z3+

We are very excited to present you the preview of Sony Xperia Z3+ which was officially announced recently and is all set to be launched some time soon. Since every firm is busy launching their new flagship model for the year 2015, Now Sony has also come up with their new android powered high end flagship smartphone which would be the successor of Sony Xperia Z3. The expected price of this smartphone will be between  €680 and €700 which is too high.

Back in January, 2103 Sony released their pioneer top end smartphone named Sony Xperia Z and since then Sony is the only firm to launch two flagship device in the same year, one during spring and another device during the fall.

Sony Xperia Z3+, as the name of the smartphone suggests this device is an upgrade over Sony Xperia Z3. But it is not a major upgrade so only there is no numerical upgrade but it is represented with a plus added to original device’s name. This new model has increased the speed of the chipset with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset with Cat6 LTE.

Also there is an upgrade over internal storage space of 32 GB where previous version featured both in 16 GB and 32 GB variants. And also the battery capacity is increased from 2930 mAh to 3100 mAh. Sony Xperia Z3+ is much more lighter and thinner than its ancestor Sony Xperia Z3. Other than these mentioned features it sports the same specs with a brighter screen.

Sony Xperia Z3+ is designed with a stylish dual glass panel look with Qualcomm Quick charge certificate. Sony included a few design tweaks as well, like cover of USB port go and charging the pogo pins but they didn’t sacrificed the headline IP68. Hardware and Software specifications

Sony Xperia Z3+ features a 5.2 inch IPS liquid crystal display (LCD) with screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. the pixel density of Xperia Z3+ is 424 pixels per inch which is great and the smartphone will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS outside the box with Sony’s Xperia user interface on top of it.

As usual, Sony Xperia Z3+ also comes with IP68 certificate which provides water and dust proof up to 1.5 meters and 30 minutes. Under the hood, Xperia Z3+ is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset which has dual quad core processor (i.e two quad core CPUs). It includes a quad core Cortex A57 processor clocked at 2 GHz speed and another quad core Cortex A53 processor clocked at speed of 1.5 GHz.

The graphics of Sony Xperia Z3+ is powered by Adreno 430 GPU chipset and is coupled along with 3 GB of main memory (RAM). Regarding the camera specifications, this device sports a 20.7 MP camera on its back with a LED flash light which has capability of recording videos at resolution of 2160 pixels.

The front camera sports a 5.1 MP lens which can record videos at resolution of 1080 pixels and also has Video stabilization and Superior Auto features. The internal storage space of Sony Xperia Z3+ will be 32 GB which can be further expanded with the help of an external micro SD card. Z3+ is packed along with a 3100 mAh battery.

The connectivity standards of Sony Xperia Z3+ includes WiFi 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n/ ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth version 4.1, Sony LDAC wireless high resolution audio codec, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, Beidou receiver, FM radio with RDS, micro USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 2G, 3G, 4G Cat.6 LTE (up to 300 mbps), USB On-The-Go. Sony Xperia Z3+ has active noise cancellation facility with secondary microphone and digital noise cancellation feature. It has front facing stereo speakers.

To conclude, Sony Xperia Z3+ is only a slight upgrade over its previous model Sony Xperia Z3 with a polished new stylish dual glass panel design with a brighter screen.
