Vivo X5Max – World’s thinnest smartphone is now released for India market
Vivo has come up with a new smartphone named Vivo X5Max to win the title of being the world’s thinnest smartphone. Now this latest smartphone is available in India for price of Rs. 32,980. The manufacturer says that Vivo X5Max will be available through physical shops starting from Monday.
Vivo X5Max is just 4.75 millimeter thick. It is slimmer than current world’s thinnest smartphone Oppo R5 which is 4.85 millimeter thick. Firm says that it has used industry’s thinnest chassis of 3.98 mm for X5Max along with thin screen whose thickness is 1.36 mm.
Vivo X5Max has another important highlight that it supports Hi-Fi 2.0 and it focuses on great experience in music. This latest smartphone features Yahama YSS-205X chipset.
The latest android smartphone – Vivo X5Max runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with firm’s user interface (Funtouch operating system 2.0) on top. The user interface is somewhat similar to other Chinese smartphone manufacturers like Oppo and Xiaomi who have ColorOS and MIUI.
Vivo X5Max is built on 64 bit based architecture with octa core processor which has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chip. That is, Vivo X5Max has quad core 1.7 GHz + quad core 1 GHz coupled processor with 2 GB of RAM.
This latest smartphone features 5.5 inch high definition Super AMOLED display screen with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Vivo X5Max has 16 GB of internal storage space which can be further expanded by external microSD card upto 128 GB. This smartphone sports 13 MP rear camera with LED flash light while the front snapper is 5 MP and also has Sony IMX214 sensor.
Vivo X5Max is a dual SIM smartphone which supports both micro SIM and nano SIM, also both the SIM card slots supports 4G LTE. It has a battery of 2000 mAh and supports basic connectivity standards such as Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE, USB OTG, 3G, 4G LTE, micro USB. Vivo X5Max measures about 153.9 x 78 x 4.75 millimeters and it carries a price tag of Rs. 32,980.
