Xiaomi Arch – First Dual Edge smartphone ever
Xiaomi is tediously working on manufacturing a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge similar smartphone with dual Edge display named as Xiaomi Arch. With reference from Gizmo China on Saturday, a leaked picture of Xiaomi Arch which is yet to be officially announced from Xiaomi was spotted.
Xiaomi Arch is the World’s first dual edge display smartphone ever and unfortunately they did not reveal the real source for the picture of this upcoming smartphone.
The following picture of Xiaomi Arch seems like a concept android gadget and it features a dual curved display instead of single edge display screen like on Samsung’s Galaxy Note Edge.
While there is no official confirmation from the Chinese smartphone manufacture about Xiaomi Arch. In addition to this there are also two devices expected from Xiaomi at CES 2105. Those gadgets are Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi MiPad2 tablet whose picture and specifications were leaked last week.
From the glimpse of the leaked Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone, it appears to be a large screen smartphone or phablet which is expected to come with sapphire display. The sapphire display part was a rumor but Xiaomi’s order of 50,000 sapphire display covers confirms it (maybe).
Regarding specifications of the device for Xiaomi Mi 5 or Mi 4S will sport a 5.7 inch Quad high definition display with resolution 1440 x 2560 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset which is based on 64 bit achitecture coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It features a 20.7 MP camera on its back.
Another expected android device is Xiaomi MiPad tablet which is named as MiPad 2 and rumored to feature Intel chipset instead of Nvidia Tegra chipset as seen on its ancestor. It sports a 7.9 inch display screen with resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and coupled with 2 gig of physical memory (RAM) and comes with 16 GB of internal memory space and will run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box with MIUI interface on top of it.
