Microsoft Office 2016 a.k.a Office 16 officially launched
On Wednesday, Microsoft Corporation revealed that for those users who have Microsoft Office 365 subscription (i.e cloud based service) will be receiving this new Microsoft Office 2016 for free. For other users, this office suite can be purchased from retailers. This Office Suite is available in 47 languages globally (in which 14 languages are Indian languages).
Microsoft said that starting from today, Office 365 subscribers can download the new Microsoft Office 2016 applications. It will be automatically updated for customers on next month. The Office 365 Personal edition costs around INR 3,299 per year (includes One subscriber – one Phone, One Tablet and one PC).
Office 365 Home edition is priced at INR 4,199 per year which includes for five users – Five Phones, Five Tablets and Five PCs. Coming to Microsoft Office 2016, The new Business edition comes in two different formats – Professional Plus edition and Standard edition. Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus edition costs about INR 33,911 rupees and the Standard edition costs about INR 24,844 rupees.
Perpetual Suite of Microsoft Office 2016 will go for INR 5999 rupees for Students edition and for Business edition it’ll cost about INR 18,499 rupees. This new Office Suite comes with 1 TB of cloud storage space on OneDrive. Alok Lall, the director of Microsoft Office (Indian Division) said that, it will be soon upgraded to unlimited storage space.
Firm claimed that, with Microsoft Office 2016 the productivity and efficiency will be increased since Office 16 is designed and configured in such a way that it not only give way for increased productivity and efficiency by breaking work space time continuum but it also encourages BYOD in the country.
Microsoft Office 2016 works well with other mobile devices on three major platforms where users can pick up what they left in one device from another device. With this new suite it will definitely make the user experience smarter and easier.
