Motorola has recently launched a premium android smartphone dubbed as Moto X Force for Indian market. This new smartphone comes in two variants – 32 GB and 64 GB.

Moto X Force 32 GB variant costs about INR 49, 999 and the 64 GB variant carries a price tag of INR 53, 999. X Force will be available for purchasing from 8th February, 2106 through Flipkart, Amazon India and will also be available via physical retail stores which includes Spice and Croma.

Moto X Force will be available in three flavors – White, Black and Grey colors. The main highlighted feature of X Force is it features ShatterShield display. The firm said back in October, 2015 that the display is made up of flexible AMOLED screen, Aluminium rigid core and dual layered panels (just in case if one goes bad). It won’t get shattered into pieces when dropped down on concrete and in addition to that, Moto X Force features water repellent nano coating.

Motorola claims that Moto X Force’s display comes with 4 year replacement warranty just in case of accidental damage. Force features a 5.4 inch quad high definition display with screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

Under the hood, Moto X Force is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset with octa core processor clocked at 2 GHz and is coupled with 3 GB of RAM (LPDDR4 main memory). In addition to the inbuilt storage space (i.e. 32 GB or 64 GB) the memory space can be expanded up to 2 TB with help of an external microSD card.

Moto X Force is backed up by a powerful 3760 mAh battery and firm claims it can run for 2 days with mixed usage and supports QuickCharge which comes with 25W charger.

Regarding the camera specifications, Moto X Force sports a 21 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and a dual LED flashlight and Phase detect auto focus. There is also a 5 MP front snapper with f/ 2.0 aperture and flash.

Moto X Force runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with Moto’s custom user interface on top of it. It may receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow in near future. It has only single SIM facility and the connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, CDMA, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, micro USB etc.
